In connection with the high-performance LED drive scheme from ON Semiconductor, the author then explores many different cases for the application of LED drive, such as supplying power to LED by AC isolation power or by wide input DC-DC power supply. In the end, the author recommends the scheme of ON Semiconductor LED shunt protection which can be applied to the situation where highly reliable and sustainable LED is required.
