jobs Command

jobs Displays all running jobs.

Example 1 -

Run jobs command and see the result on terminal .Output is similar to the following:When supplied the -l option, jobs displays process IDs in addition to job number, similar to the following output:

  jobs
  output - [1] + Stopped (user) top  

Example 2 -

When supplied the -l option, jobs displays process IDs in addition to job number, similar to the following output:

  jobs -l 
  output - [3] 16882 Running ./chsearchproc (wd: ~/public_html/cgi-bin/chsearch)
